Savannah is a community organizer and program developer working at the intersection of human rights and technology. As Director of Training and Education, she leads the development and implementation of digital skills training programs for non-profits and government agencies. She previously served as the program manager for CivicXcel, a civic ideas accelerator. Prior to Civic Hall, her work centered on gender-based violence prevention. She worked at the forefront of the campus sexual assault movement and then for Breakthrough, a global human rights organization working on gender-based violence, where she managed their digital organizing strategy and curriculum development.
 
Savannah currently attends Columbia University’s graduate program in human rights, focusing on the role of online platforms’ features, content policies, and recommendation algorithms in radicalizing individuals to white supremacy. She also loves petting other people’s dogs and hosts a variety radio show called The Gay Agenda.
