Civic Hall is a one-of-a-kind community center for the world’s civic innovators. We are a space where social entrepreneurs, change-makers, government employees, hackers, academics, journalists, and artists can share knowledge, build tools, and solve problems together.

Civic Hall is located on Second Floor of 156 5th Avenue at the corner of 5th Avenue and 20th Street.

HOW MUCH IS THE APPLICATION FEE?
Applying to Civic Hall is absolutely FREE!
I’VE SENT IN MY APPLICATION. WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I’VE BEEN ACCEPTED?
We will review applications on a rolling basis, space permitting. Expect to hear from staff within 7-14 days of submitting your application.
CAN I REQUEST A DEDICATED DESK?
To promote community engagement, Civic Hall does not offer dedicated desks. We encourage our members to move freely throughout the community space – engage with your fellow members and take advantage of our beautiful common areas.
I WANT TO JOIN CIVIC HALL, BUT I’M FROM OUT OF TOWN AND I DON’T NEED A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP. CAN I USE THE COMMUNITY SPACE AS NEEDED?
Absolutely! Our Community Membership is designed for out-of-town members. When you’re in town, you can easily purchase a day pass through the membership portal.
I WANT TO SPEND MORE TIME AT CIVIC HALL! WHEN CAN I UPGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP?
Space permitting, members can upgrade their membership level at any time. Members can cancel or downgrade their membership with 30 days notice.
I’M A PART-TIME MEMBER AND I HAVEN’T USED ALL OF MY DAYS THIS MONTH, CAN I CARRY THEM OVER TO NEXT MONTH?
No, member access is on a monthly basis.
I’VE ALREADY USED ALL MY CONFERENCE ROOM HOURS FOR THE MONTH AND I HAVE A BIG MEETING NEXT WEEK! WHAT DO I DO?
No problem! We’re here to help! You can easily purchase additional conference room hours through your membership portal.
CAN I INVITE OR BRING GUESTS TO CIVIC HALL?
Absolutely! Guests can join members for a meeting at Civic Hall any time. Guests must be invited by a member present at Civic Hall.
