High School

A free, 4-week program for NYC high school students (grades 9–12) to explore vibe coding, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), prompt engineering, and emerging technologies through hands-on projects and real-world tools.

All completed applications must be submitted by Friday, May 1, 2026. Selected applicants will be notified by Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Program Dates: July 6 – July 31, 2026

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Program Highlights

Week 1

Foundations & Literacy

Understand the basics of AI, how it works, and how to use it responsibly. Learn prompt engineering (how to talk to AI effectively) and create your own professional digital profile.

Week 2-3

Tool Mastery & Automation

Explore powerful no-code tools and visual AI platforms. Build simple automations and create your own AI-generated visuals to showcase in a project portfolio.

Week 4

Capstone Project

Put everything together to build your own AI project. Work in teams, learn how to manage a project, and present your final solution with a live demo.

Throughout the program, students will also engage with guest speakers and mentors from across the tech ecosystem, participate in immersive VR experiences, and take part in supplemental activities designed to connect learning to real career pathways. These added experiences help students better understand the possibilities ahead and how their new skills translate into future opportunities.
